Kacey Hillebrand
Kacey is a long-time writer. From books and plays in elementary school to papers and essays in college, she is forever eager to get down all those ideas in her head. While tutoring in her high school's Writing Center, Kacey fell in love with helping other students get down their ideas, too. It was always fun for her to see how her peers approached their writing, usually in a way different from her own!
Kacey studies psychology and anthropology at William & Mary. While on campus, she volunteers at local elementary schools helping students learn math and reading. Kacey likes helping all kinds of students with their learning so much that for her educational psychology class, she authored an op-ed about the importance of secondary school Writing Centers.
When Kacey wants to relax, she escapes into music! Kacey has been playing the trombone for over 10 years and loves playing in ensembles with her friends. In fact, playing trombone and writing are actually pretty similar- both give your arm a good workout!
