Tierra Woodford
Tierra is a two time NAACP award winning author and published novelist. She officially began tutoring in high school for the NAACP Act-so creative writing competition and continued through her undergraduate college years at New Hampshire Institute of Art and Design. She loves the opportunity to pass on the delight of writing through practice tailored to her students needs, interests and different learning styles. Tierra is skilled at refining class essays, and creative writing techniques. In addition she has helped students prepare for middle school and high school entrance exams. She takes her time to carefully breakdown the content in a palatable way to alleviate the student's stress while bringing their skills above their current grade level. When she's not tutoring she enjoys time outside (specifically biking) and playing her violin. She has experience working with 5th graders to Highschool seniors.
