Terms and conditions for Jump Writing (Twice Weekly) - Monthly Membership

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

You are not locked into a long-term agreement and can cancel by letting us know at least 10 business days before your next scheduled payment.

If you decide to cancel before the end of a 6-month membership, we will automatically convert your registration to a shorter membership, which would typically have a slightly higher per-month fee. You pay the difference in the monthly fee for the term of the membership.

If you need to cancel before the completion of your selected duration, let us know by e-mailing contact@jumpwriting.com.

In the event you register and pay for a Jump Writing membership, but need to cancel before your child’s first scheduled session, you will be refunded the amount you paid, less a 5% fee to cover credit card fees and administrative costs.

RENEWAL POLICY

This contract will automatically renew at the end of its term for a term of the same length. A two (2) week period of time (ten (10) business days) will be available at the end of each term for a student to switch between the month-to-month and 6-month term options only after the initial term has been completed (unless the student started with the month-to-month option). During this two (2) week period of time, a contract may also be canceled if the applicable account is currently in good standing and no outstanding balances are due.

SCHEDULING POLICY
If you miss the deadline to register for your child’s sessions for a week, your child will likely still be able to attend. However, the available time slots will likely be more limited.

LATE POLICY

To prevent disruptions for learners who do arrive on time, any student logging on more than 5 minutes late will not be admitted.

If a student misses a session without 24 notice, that session is considered “used” and cannot be rescheduled. If you provide 24 hours notice of a need to reschedule, we will reschedule you for another session that week. Sessions cannot be rescheduled from one week to another.

PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION

I do hereby authorize Jump Writing (and parent company Ringtail Learning, Inc.) to transfer electronic funds on a recurring basis from the credit/debit card account I specified for my plan membership dues. This authorization is to remain effective until Jump Writing has collected for all charges assessed in connection with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

Tuition fees for all students are due and must be paid on or before the beginning of each program month, regardless of Student’s absence, major holidays, and/or school holidays. In the event that a student is absent all applicable fees are still due at their standard interval regardless of attendance.

In the event that a student is absent due to medical reasons, tuition fees only may be postponed with the proper medical proof for only one (1) month. Students will not be allowed to attend sessions until all billed amounts and fees are paid in full.

I understand that the classes are based on a twelve-month calendar year, with a month defined as the start date of the agreement through one day before the same date of the following month. For example, an agreement beginning on January 7th would complete one month at the end of the day on Feb 6th. An agreement started April 15th would complete one month at the end of the day on May 14th, and so forth. In the event that the “day before the same date of the following month” does not exist, the month will be considered complete on the last day of that month. For example, an agreement commenced on January 31st would be considered to have completed one month on the last day of February; Feb 28th or in a leap-year, Feb 29th, as there is no Feb 30th due to the inconsistent number of days in months.
